Introducing Harleston

Harleston is a small market town with a population of about 5,000 situated in South Norfolk right on the Norfolk/Suffolk border within the Waveney valley. Whilst it has a relatively small population, there is a wide catchment area of about 30,000. Almost situated in the centre of East Anglia, Norwich is16 miles, Ipswich is 32 miles and Bury St Edmunds 32 miles. There are regular bus services to the surrounding areas together with mainline railway station at Diss on the Norwich to London Liverpool Street line.

Harleston has been a market town since at least 1369 and still holds a Wednesday market.

Living locally, I have practiced over parts of Norfolk, all of Suffolk and Essex of which 38 years have been in and around Diss and have gained a wealth of knowledge in marketing customers’ homes to their full potential. Lucy has been working in Estate Agency since leaving University and is personally responsible for the lettings department. She can give advice to both existing landlords and buyers looking to invest for the first time as to what is their best property to let. Lucy also assists buyers with their general property needs, ensuring they find the right home in the right location. She has a keen eye for detail and customer service is an important part of her day to day role. She is an active hockey player representing the renowned Harleston Magpies in the Ladies First Team and Mixed Team.

Having studied Property Management and Development at college, I began working in the property industry as a Sales Negotiator in Norwich City Centre. This was a great start to my career in a busy office environment. Since working in the industry, I have expanded my skills and knowledge, giving me a greater understanding of our sellers and buyer’s needs and allowing me to ensure superb customer service. I have dealt with a range of properties from the smallest of homes right through to large country properties together with new homes in the area. As a previous client of Parson, I experienced first-hand the level of customer that they provide their clients. This attracted me to join the team!
